If money makes you anxious, stressed, or guilty, you’re not alone. In this small, supportive group, we’ll read *Your Money or Your Life* by Vicki Robin and explore what it brings up for us, from the emotions behind our spending to the dreams we want to fund.

This isn’t financial coaching, and it’s not therapy, but it is a space to reflect, share, and begin rewriting your money story. Over six weeks, we’ll meet in person, read together, and reconnect with what truly matters.

What’s included

Over six weeks, you’ll be part of a small, supportive group of people exploring *Your Money or Your Life* together. Each week, you’ll get:

✨ A guided reading plan so you know exactly what to focus on each week without feeling overwhelmed.

✨ Weekly group sessions where we’ll meet on google meet to discuss what stood out, what emotions it stirred, and how it connects to your own money story.

✨ Reflection prompts and journalling questions to help you go deeper between sessions.

✨ A private space to share insights, ask questions, and connect with others on the same journey.

By the end, you’ll feel clearer, calmer, and more connected to your values around money, and you’ll have a community of women who truly get it.

This group is for you if…

  • You feel anxious, guilty, or confused about money and want to explore those feelings in a safe, supportive space.
  • You’re curious about how your relationship with money shapes your life, choices, and sense of freedom.
  • You love self-development books and wish you had others to talk about them with.
  • You’re ready to make gentle, meaningful changes, not through pressure or spreadsheets, but through awareness and reflection.
  • You value connection, honesty, and growth — and you’re open to sharing your journey with others who feel the same.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to look inward.

Join the Founding Circle

This first TherapyBookClub will be a small, in-person group of 6 to 8 people meeting weekly online. We’ll read *Your Money or Your Life* together and explore how it connects to our own experiences with money, freedom, and self-worth.

As part of this founding circle, you’ll help shape the future of TherapyBookClub and get a deeply personal experience in return. You’ll also have the chance to share your feedback or a short testimonial at the end, which will help bring this project to life for others.

If this speaks to you, I’d love to hear from you.

Simply drop me an email and I’ll be in touch with more details and how to book.

Feeling isolated in private practice? You’re not alone.

As therapists, we hold space for others every day, yet so often find ourselves without a space of our own, somewhere to reflect, connect and be truly understood. It can feel lonely, even when our work is deeply meaningful.

That’s why I created The Reflective Book Club for Therapists, a warm, confidential space where counsellors and psychotherapists can come together to explore the themes and points of personal reflection in the book we are reading.

In this group we will work with “Recovering from Emotionally Immature Parents” by Lindsay Gibson. Through shared discussion, reflection and gentle facilitation, we’ll unpack how these ideas show up in our client work and in ourselves, all within a safe, supportive community of peers.

What to Expect

Each month, we’ll gather online in a small, supportive group to read and reflect on the book. You’ll have the chance to share insights, ask questions, and explore how the themes of childhood emotional neglect show up in your client work and in yourself as a practitioner.

As a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, I’ll gently facilitate our discussions so that everyone feels heard, valued, and safe. This is not a supervision group, but it is a space for professional reflection, connection, and growth.

You’ll leave each session feeling lighter, more inspired, and better equipped to support your clients, and yourself, with compassion and clarity.

How It Works

We’ll meet once a month online for a 90-minute facilitated discussion. Before each session, you’ll read the agreed chapter or section of the book. During our meetings, we’ll reflect together on the key ideas, share insights, and explore how they connect to our client work and personal growth as practitioners.

You’ll get:

  • A safe, confidential space to reflect and connect with fellow therapists where you can share insights, ask questions, and connect with others on the same journey.
  • Thoughtful facilitation from an experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor
  • Access to a supportive community that understands the realities of therapeutic work
  • A guided reading plan so you know exactly what to focus on each month without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Reflection prompts to help you go deeper between sessions.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of emotional neglect, find connection within the profession, or simply enjoy meaningful professional reflection, this group offers a gentle, inspiring space to do just that.

So if you’ve been craving connection, reflection, and a sense of belonging in your professional life, this is your invitation to join a small circle of like-minded therapists.

Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate and safe, so if this speaks to you, I’d love for you to join us.

Let’s create a space where we can grow, learn, and feel truly connected again.

Discussion

Have you been wondering why you have limited or unsustained success with diets? Would you like to have a healthier or more easeful relationship with food?

Therapy Book Club combines the benefits of group therapy with the community spirit of a book club. This is not a diet or a weight loss group. Instead you can expect:

  • A safe environment to explore your relationship with food, facilitated by a trained BACP registered therapist.
  • The support of people experiencing similar issues
  • The opportunity to make sense of the reading as it applies to your life and experiences.
  • Guided exercises in a therapeutic environment.
  • The satisfaction of supporting others with the opportunity to hold each other gently accountable.

Therapy to the power of 8, therapy book club is less expensive than one to one therapy and more effective than working alone.
